I trained as an ophthalmologist at the CBM Ophthalmic Institute in the South Indian state of Kerala in 2004. Following that I have worked at the Eye unit of Southampton General Hospital for 11 years. During that time I have been an examiner for the Royal College of Ophthalmologists and have been an appraiser for senior doctors at the hospital. More recently I have re-trained to be a GP and have had experience of working as a GP across the New Forest and Southampton city areas. In my free time I love to swim (the pandemic permitting) and to play the piano.
