Following my first degree in Medical Laboratory Science, I trained in Medicine at the University of Southampton, before passing my Surgery membership exams whilst also juggling the arrival two young sons. With a third son on the way in 2007, I changed to General Practice and qualified as a GP in 2009. I’ve always been passionate about education, obtaining an MA in Medical Education in 2012.
When I’m not juggling my roles in Medical Education (at the University of Southampton) and GP (usually at Harefield Surgery on Mondays), I am kept busy as mum to three teenage boys. I also enjoy playing with the Southampton Ukulele Jam at gigs and charity events around Southampton.
