Do you need advice about your unwell child? The Healthier Together app and website have a wealth of information for parents and carers. Designed by hospital doctors and GPs in Southampton, Healthier Together provides parents with clear information on common illnesses, including advice on what serious ‘red-flag’ signs to look out for, where to seek help if required, what you should do to keep comfortable and how long symptoms are likely to last.
You can also use the service to find out how to care for your pregnancy, help your child stay healthy, and support your child’s mental health. The app allows you to check the severity of your child’s symptoms and contact the surgery for more advice if needed. This works in just the same way as eConsult and comes straight through to our clinical systems at the surgery for review by our GPs.
