TARGET Explained!

Target stands for Time for Audit, Research, Governance, Education and Training. All of these things are important in ensuring that staff at Living Well Partnership can deliver care for you effectively.

By taking part in a quarterly, half day TARGET session, our staff can:

  • Learn new skills which they can use back in the surgery
  • Learn about new treatments and approaches to care
  • Work closely with our local hospitals and other care providers to improve pathways
  • Share thoughts and ideas with each other to improve services
  • Engage with team building opportunities

The next TARGET session is being held on the afternoon of 11th March 2025.

The surgery, reception and phone lines will be unavailable from 1pm.

Anima will be unavailable from 10:30am, which means you will be unable to submit any new requests during this time.

If you need medical assistance while the surgery is unavailable, there are a number of options available:

• You can call 111 or visit www.111.nhs.uk

• For child / pregnancy health you can visit www.what0-18.nhs.uk

• You can visit a local pharmacy

• If you have a minor injury you can attend the Urgent Treatment Centre

• In a life-threatening medical emergency, you should call 999

Anima will reopen at 6:30am on Wednesday 12th March

The surgery, reception and phone lines will open as usual at 8am on Wednesday 12th March.
