We are delighted to announce we are increasing access to the mix of services that provide to our patients. We are creating capacity for pre-booked appointments to see nurses, pharmacists, health care assistants, social prescribers and GPs. Additional appointments are available 6.30pm to 8pm Monday to Friday and Saturdays from 9am to 5pm. In response to the patient engagement survey many of you responded to we will be providing a mixture of face to face and telephone appointments. The appointments will include routine GP appointments, immunisations (children and adults), wound dressing, women’s health (including coil fitting and smears), health checks, annual reviews for long term conditions, reviews of medication and support from our community connector social prescriber team. We will also be offering group clinics where appropriate and as you will see from our winter vaccine campaign, we are providing some “grab your jab” larger clinics in October.

Every evening one of our surgeries will be open for pre-booked telephone and face to face appointments. Where possible we intend to offer patients that live closer to these sites a face to face appointment and also those that may ordinarily unable to access services during normal hours.
