I qualified in 1996 from the University of Medicine and Pharmacy Cluj-Napoca, Romania. I subsequently completed specialist training in allergy and clinical immunology and worked as an allergy specialist before moving to the UK in 2006. I completed my GP training in Hampshire in 2015 and for a few years I worked as a locum in practices across Hampshire and Dorset before settling as a regular doctor at Living Well Partnership. I enjoy the perpetual and diverse challenges of general practice and I am passionate about offering the best care to my patients. I also love general practice for the unique opportunities it offers to establish continuity of care and long term connections with my patients. Building on my previous specialist expertise, I continue to have a special interest in allergy with particular focus on anaphylaxis, cow’s milk protein, food and skin allergy. I am also interested in respiratory disease and lifestyle medicine.
Outside work I am a keen painter and organise weekly painting classes for beginners; I also enjoy outdoor walks by the sea, paddleboarding and playing tennis.
