After completing medical school in Brighton I moved back to Jersey, where I was born and bred, to complete my junior doctor years. I then returned to Brighton to work as an educational fellow in the emergency department, developing a passion for both emergency care and teaching. I completed a Postgraduate Certificate in medical education and hope to keep this as a large part of my career in the future.

I then returned to work in Jersey as a registrar in A&E for four years before deciding it was time to spread my wings and venture into general practice. I’ve always loved the variety that medicine can offer and felt that – similarly to emergency medicine – a life as a GP would offer plenty of variety (just with a lot fewer night shifts!)  Completing my final year of GP training at Living Well has certainly lived up to this so far.

Having only lived in Jersey and Brighton (and now Southampton!) you can tell I don’t like being far from the sea! I love being outdoors, long beach walks with my dog and fiancé and am currently spending a lot of my free time planning our wedding later this year.
