I finished my medical degree in the Philippines in 2016. I did my equivalent foundation year in our country’s government specialised hospitals. My journey to UK started in 2020, where I worked in a non-training General Surgery post in London.
I joined GP training recently. I am enjoying my journey and experience, as community medicine works beautifully and differently from previous hospital experiences. The holistic approach for care is what draws me to General Practice and I am hoping to bring my experience as I join the practice and finish my training, ultimately aiming to qualify as a GP.
My interests outside work include activities under the sun – swimming, kayaking, walking, hiking, and promoting health and well-being with focus on cooking, nutrition, food, meditation, and exercise.
