Discover more about Living Well Partnership
We are a team of NHS GPs and clinicians dedicated to helping you live well, throughout your life.
Thousands of women across England are now able to get the contraceptive pill at their local pharmacy without needing to contact their GP first. Pharmacies across the country are offering the new service for the first time, increasing choice for women in the ways in which they can access contraception. Women can access this service for new contraception starts or continuation of repeat medication.
The rollout is part of the government and the NHS’s primary care access recovery plan, which committed to making it quicker and easier for millions of people to access healthcare on their high street.

We have fully trained staff who are licensed to insert coils and implants. There is a waiting list for this service. Let us know if you want to discuss this option, and feel free to find out more at your initial contraception clinic appointment or at any of your subsequent annual reviews.
